Emma Bunton Picture
Emma Lee Bunton (born 21 January 1976) is an English pop singer, songwriter, and occasional actress, originally from the girl group Spice Girls, where she was known as "Baby Spice". Her debut solo album entitled "A Girl Like Me" spawned the UK number-one hit "What Took You So Long?", as well as the top five hits "What I Am" (a cover of a 1998's song earlier recorded by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians) and "Take My Breath Away" (which was not a cover of Berlin's 1986's hit), and top twenty hit "We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight". The album sold around 125,000 in the UK. In spring of 2003, she returned as Emma (losing the Bunton), with the top five hit "Free Me" and later that year released "Maybe", which also went top ten and outsold the previous single. In spring of 2004, the single "I'll Be There" and the album "Free Me" were released.

Crickets Sing for Anamaria Lyrics

Emma Bunton

Hey Maria pappa said you'd better go to bed
Maria mamma said you'd better go to bed
and little sister said you'd better go to bed
and your old brother said
you heard what pappa said
you'd better say goodnight
you'd better shut the light
and pappa told you: no,
you can't go out tonight
but pappa didn't know
Maria had a date
and couldn't let him wait
so in a little while
she waited till the lights were low
she went out to the window to her beau
and so...
a happy man
let her hugging him
and let her kissing him
and let a happy thought
and that was wonderful
let her happy talk

when all the crickets sing
and it was sumer time
when anyone's in love
the crickets sing a happy song
but they didn't do their repertoire for long
Suddenly the pappa came,
and then the mamma came,
and then the sister came,
and then the brother came,
and then the uncle came,
and then the cousin came,
and even *** came,

and I can tell you,
this, it was a dirty shame
because the pappa came,
and then the mamma came,
and then the sister came,
and then the brother came,
and then the cousin came,
and even *** came,
I can tell you thiiiissss,
due due due due

when anyone's in love
the crickets sing a happy song
